Some funny boxes around some of the pics.  Not sure how to change it!  Sorry!!

So, what a week it has been!  Moved and taking over a chicken farm within one week!!  Now it's snowing and blowing and windy.  So far things are going well.
Case had his last day at South Country yesterday.  He had 13 good years there, but we really felt it was time to move on.  We believe that God provided this opportunity for us and we pray that we will be faithful in our work here. Jason has to be in Calgary on Monday morning 7:30 am.  We hope to travel up there tomorrow afternoon to stay at the Ronald Mcdonald House overnight so we don't need to leave so early Monday morning.  The weather isn't that great right now so we are not sure what's going to happen.

Some pics of our first week here!

Lake front property!!  How many of you can boast that???

Jason needs Video EEG monitoring.  This will provide the doctors with a picture of what's going on in his brain when he is having seizures.  They want to see where the seizures start, where they travel to and what part of the brain is all involved.  He will also have external video monitoring which will give them a  picture of what the seizures look like compared to what's going on inside.
This process is very tough for Jason.  The last time we did it, we said, "Never again!"  And, here we are DOING IT AGAIN!!!!  We have a new neurologist who really feels he needs to see the inside/outside of Jason when he's having seizures.  I will post updates and pics as time allows.

This picture shows what an EEG is all about.  This was his first one he ever had.  He will be hooked up like this the whole time he is there but will be awake.  Please pray that he will be calm and that we will be able to handle him.  He needs to have lots of seizures in as few days as possible. Seems ironic!

So, Jason is having is EEG and in preparation for that, he gets a nice haircut.  The doctor said, "The shorter the better. Bald is best!!"  So it's bald he is!  Hair cuts are tough and it takes a few of us to get the job done.  Real fast with lots of praise!

First I took my big old Cutco scissors and chopped the length off!  Gotta be careful with those!!  Might take a chunk out of his head!!!

Then it's the buzzer!!

Checkin' out the new 'do' in the mirror.  "Did you get a buzzard!?"

Washing off all the loose hairs.  He is looking up at the shower to see if the water will  come down.  Doesn't quite get it that he's holding it in his hand!

Handsome dude!!
